Alex Bushel, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, formed Ultimate Risk Solutions in 2001 after serving as Senior Vice President of Guy Carpenter & Company where he was part of the team that designed one of the first versions of the firm's Dynamic Financial Analysis software. He has built URS into a leading provider of financial risk modeling software including Risk Explorer™, the DFA model used by leading insurers, reinsurers and brokers worldwide.
Tal Piccione, Non-Executive Chairman, is Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. RE Companies, Inc., an international financial services company with interests in reinsurance brokerage, underwriting management, consulting, analytics, claims/risk management, and investment banking. He founded the Company in 1987 after leaving Guy Carpenter & Company where he held various senior management positions. Mr. Piccione is active in industry affairs and serves frequently as a spokesman in connection with public issues affecting reinsurance.
Anya Kutsina, Co-Founder and Executive Director, joined URS in 2002 after working in actuarial departments at Guy Carpenter & Company, Aon Re, and Swiss Re in New York. She oversees global business development activity for URS. Ms. Kutsina holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and an MBA in Actuarial Science and Finance.
John Spencer, Executive Director, has 30 years' experience in the international insurance and reinsurance business. Currently, in addition to his role on the board of Ultimate Risk Solutions, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Argo International at Lloyd’s. He is also a Non-executive director of Odyssey Re's Newline Underwriting Management and of Thompson Heath & Bond, the Lloyd's broking arm of AmWINS Group. He served as Group Chief Executive at BMS Group, the international insurance and reinsurance brokerage firm from 2002 to 2008 and earlier was Head of Development & Operations for the Americas at Lloyd's.

Research & Development
The Research & Development staff includes PhDs in physics and mathematics, designated actuaries, software designers who pioneered financial risk modeling, and developers with in-depth experience in the industry. The R&D staff works constantly to update existing models and create new software to improve business decision making.
Field Executives
Managing Directors are assigned to major world regions including the UK, EU, US, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia. They maintain close contact with clients and work with prospective users to customize URS products to their specific needs.
Support & Maintenance
Senior actuaries who are Fellows of the Casualty Actuarial Society in the US and the Institute of Actuaries in the UK work directly with clients in training, maintenance, and individual support activities.
